It was a banner day for the Lakin boys as they finished second at the Stanton County meet Saturday.
Meade finished first with 62 points, with Lakin finishing in a three-way tie for second with 73 points, winning the tiebreaker.
Highlighting the race was a 1-2 finish for the Broncs, with Alex Luce taking the title in 16:39.68, followed by Austin Ritsema in 16:50.65.
Zael Bermudez placed 25th, Vicente Davis 28th, Gabe Cox 29th, Eric Munson 31st, and Blake Matthews 34th in the 76-runner field.
For the varsity girls, Emma Miller placed ninth, running 23:03.20.
Ivy Davis finished 19th, Odaliz Garcia 26th, Luna Vazquez 27th, Abby Holmes 31st, and Shillelagh Kentner 34th.
The girls finished fourth with 73 points. South Gray won the team title with 27 points.
For the JV girls, Melany Lorenzo finished third, Addison Grusing fifth and Atalissa Bradford 11th.
For the JV boys, Camden Bergkamp finished second, Brennen Bless third, Zalvador Bermudez 12th, Chris Ortiz 14th, Blake Walker 15th, Kade Hartman 19th, Justin Leader 22nd and Owen Ostberg 24th.
Kate Miller won the seventh grade girls title, running 12:56.67.
Tyler Johnson placed eighth in the seventh grade boys division, running 13:32.63.
