Girls rally past Syracuse

After a sluggish start, the Lakin girls rallied past Syracuse at home Tuesday night to take out the Bulldogs, 46-33.
Trailing 14-10 after one quarter, the Broncs took a 19-18 lead at halftime.
A 13-7 third quarter and 14-8 final period sealed the win.
Cold shooting hurt the Bulldogs as they converted just 19 percent of their shots. Lakin countered with 40 percent shooting (21 of 52).
Over half of Syracuse’s points came at the free throw line where they were 17 of 28.
The Bulldogs held a 32-30 edge on rebounding.
Jara Davidson had 14 points and Samantha Vogel eight to lead the Broncs.
Aryn Michaelis had seven rebounds, Lileah Villa had four assists, and Reagan Chavira had four steals.
