Wrestlers compete in Hoisington

The wrestling team took a contingent to Hoisigton Friday and came away with some top places.
Boys
Zael Bermudez placed first at 106 pounds. The sophomore won all five of his matches by falls ranging in time from 30 seconds to 4:58.
Brennen Bless placed second at 120 pounds, winning four of his five matches by fall.
Jesse Lancaster also placed second at 132 pounds. He won his first four rounds before losing by fall in the title match.
Tanner Tarpley placed third at 165 points, finishing 1-2.
Camden Bergkamp at 150 pounds, going 2-3.
Girls
Ivy Davis won the title at 135 pounds. The senior won all four of her matches by falls, ranging from 44 seconds to 1:18.
Ileana Robles also placed first at 190 pounds. She won both of her matches by fall in 2:53 and 4:31.
Sarah Peters was second at 130 pounds with both of her wins coming by fall (3:13 and :25).
Kyleigh Perez placed third at 170, going 1-2.
Miley Roth wss sixth at 125, going 1-3.
