Wrestlers near end of season

In one of the final meets of the regular season, the wrestlers competed Friday at Wichita County.
Boys
Timmy Johnson won the title at 175 pounds, winning both of his matches by fall (2:51 and 5:10).
Zael Bermudez went 0-2 at 106 but has a record of 20-17.
Brennen Bless went 1-1 at 120. His record is 10-16.
Jesse Lancaster went 1-1 at 132 pounds. His record is 16-18.
Owen Ostberg went 1-1 at 175 to finish second. Adan Ornelas went 2-3 at 190 to finish fourth.
Camden Bergkamp wrestled at 150. Tanner Tarpley competed at 165.
The boys will compete at the Class 3-1A tournament in Norton Feb. 17.
Girls
Ivy Davis won both of matches at 135. Luna Vazquez was 1-2 at 104 pounds. Sarah Peters went 1-2 at 130. Kyleigh Perez went 1-2 at 170.
The girls Class 4-1A tournament will take place Friday and Saturday at Scott City.
