Girls place first in Scott City

The girls track team took home the team title in Wednesday’s Scott City Invitational.
In the 12-team field, the Broncs placed first with 103 points, and Hoisington was second (98).
Aryn Michaelis claimed two titles on the track, winning the 100-meter hurdles (16.08) and the 300-meter hurdles (49.03).
She also won the high jump, clearing 5-6. Michaelis also took second in the triple jump.
Alyssa Edgington took first in the pole vault, clearing 9-0. She also won the long jump (15-4.5) and finished second in the pole vault.
Amari Esquibel finished second in the 100-meter dash and third in the 200 meters.
Emma Miller finished second in the 3200-meter run.
