Softball falls to Cimarron

The softball team lost a pair of games at home against Cimarron, 10-0 and 17-2.
In the first game, Cimarron took a 5-0 lead in their first at-bat, then tagged on three more in the fourth and two in the sixth.
The Bluejays out hit the Broncs 7-2, with Elitza Fonseca and Lileah Villa picking up the Broncs’ hits.
Moriah Ortiz pitched four innings, striking out four and walking seven.
In game two, Cimarron scored four in the first, five in the second, three in the third and five in the fourth, out hitting the Broncs 15-2.
Villa and Taybree Lohman-Fuller picked up Lakin’s hits.
Ortiz struck out two and walked two. Cadence Brown struck out one and walked two.
