Softball drops pair to Holcomb

Holcomb's offense clicked Thursday as they took down the Broncs 10-0 and 15-0 in a softball doubleheader in Holcomb.

In game one, Holcomb scored in all five innings, including three runs in both the second and third innings.

Holcomb held Lakin hitless, and the Broncs committed two errors.

Moriah Ortiz took the loss, giving up five earned runs, striking out three and walking six.

In game two, Holcomb scored six runs in each of the second and third innings on their way to the win.

Lakin was held to just one hit, a double by Taybree Lohman-Fuller.
