Baseball drops game to Cimarron

The baseball team lost its regional tournament game to Cimarron 8-2 Friday at Cimarron.

Cimarron led 1-0 going into the bottom of the second inning before exploding for six more runs.

Latin scored single runs in the fourth and seventh innings.

Cimarron out hit the Broncs 8-3, with the Broncs committing seven errors.

Only two of Cimarron’s runs were earned.

Bode McCormick had two hits and Eli Bemis had one.

Isaac Jaquez had one run batted in.

Cimarron pitchers struck out Lakin 11 times.

Lakin finished the season 7-12.
