Boys get homecoming win

The boys improved to 13-1 with a 79-31 win over Cimarron on homecoming night.
Lakin held a 39-17 lead by halftime and outscored the Bluejays 28-6 in the third to cruise to the win.
The Broncs shot 51 percent from the floor (30 total field goals with 10 of them 3-pointers) and were 9 of 10 from the line.
They took advantage of 20 Bluejays turnovers, scoring 28 points.
The Broncs out rebounded Cimarron 40-28.
Austin Ritsema led the Broncs with 18 points and Nico Doume added 16.
Noah Garcia had 12 points and Adrik Gomez-Esquibel had 10.
Ritsema had 14 rebounds and Doume 10.
Gomez-Esquibel had eight assists, and he and Ritsema had three steals each.
At 13-1, the Broncs hold the top spot on the divisional standings, ahead of Goodland (14-2), and Scott City and Holcomb (both 12-4).
