Boys dominate in win over Indians

The Lakin boys used three dominant quarters to coast to an 81-31 win at Wichita County Thursday.
The Broncs had quarters of 25, 25 and 21 points to take a 71-23 lead after three periods, leading to a running-clock in the fourth in picking up their 16th straight win.
Lakin hit for 54 percent from the floor, including nine 3-pointers, holding the Indians to just 12 total field goals.
The Indians committed 26 turnovers, leading to 30 of Lakin’s points. The Broncs outscored Wichita County 21-2 on transition points.
Lakin out rebounded the Indians 35-18.
Nico Doume led the Broncs with 19 points. Austin Ritsema added 18 and Tyelor Holloway 15.
Doume and Ritsema each had six rebounds.
Colter Oldham had three steals and Adrik Gomez-Esquibel had six rebounds in helping the Broncs improve to 18-1.
