Last Tuesday, the high school track team traveled to Cimarron to compete.
After a year off, the boys got off to a good start, finishing first with 124 points in a field of seven teams.
South Gray was second with 96 points.
Lawson Beymer placed first in the 800-meter run with the time of 2:17.60 and first in the 1600 with the time of 4:54.85.
Edwin Garcia finished in second place in both the 800 (2:22.57) and the 1600 meter (5:05.77).
The boys placed first in all three relays.
In the 4x100 meter relay, the team finished the race with a time of 45.32. The relay was run by Tyler Tarpley as first leg, Ty Davidson second, Brady Hendrix third and Servando Gonzalez running as last leg.
In the 4x400 meter relay the boys ran their time in 3:51.14. This relay was run by Gonzalez, Tarpley, Davidson and Connor Hudson.
In the 4x800 relay, the boys ran in a time of 9:00.12. This relay was run by Garcia, Beymer, Davidson and Orinn Norris.
Adrian Arreola placed first in discus (120-11) and fifth in shot put.
In the 100 meter dash, Hendrix placed fourth out of 23 runners.
In the 200 meter dash Gonzalez placed second 23.80) and Kade Lovelady placed fourth.
Curtis Beam placed third in the 110 meter hurdles 17.50) while Tarpley placed third in the 300 meter hurdles (44.35).
Jumping 19-04.50 and placing third in long jump was Hendrix.
Pablo Arreola placed fifth in triple jump.
Daryan Edgington placed second in javelin with a throw of 125-10.
