The softball team traveled to Satanta Monday, dropping a doubleheader to Sublette/Satanta 14-4 and 19-9.
Lakin scored four runs to start the first game but gave back seven to Sublette in the bottom of the inning. A four-run fourth put the game out of reach.
The Broncs had just six hits, with Taegan Bachman an dTalyn Beltran with two each.
Bachman went all five innings on the mound. She also had two of the team's six stolen bases.
In game two, the Broncs took a 2-0 lead after their first at-bats, but Sublette scored eight in the bottom half of the first.
They led 10-2 after four before Lakin came back with six runs in the fifth inning. They closed to within 10-9 after the top of the sixth inning, but Sublette ralled for nine in their half to get the run-rule win.
Lakin had 15 hits, with Bachman and Beltran each getting three. Jaya Esquibel had a double for the team's only extra-base hit.
Isabell Ortiz had two of the team's seven stolen bases.
Cadence Brown pitched all six innings.
The team falls to 5-7.
