The LMS eighth grade girls track team took first place at the league meet held in Elkhart.
The girls totaled 176 points. Southwestern Heights was second with 87.
In the field events, Alyssa Edginton took first place in the pole vault with a jump of 8-0.
Halle Woodrow also placed in the pole vault getting second with a jump of 5-06.
With a jump of 4-08, Maile White secured first place in the high jump.
Moriah Ortiz swept the throwing events throwing 33-03 in shot put and 73-11.75 in discus.
Kyleigh Perez won the triple jump with a jump of 28-00.5.
In the 100 meter hurdles, Edgington got first (16.69) and Perez got second (19.05).
Edgington also took a first place medal in the open 100 with a time of 13.96.
In the open 400, White took first place with a time of 1:08.78.
She also got first in the open 800 (2:48.16).
Ortiz placed first in the 200 hurdles with a time of 35.26.
Edgington won the open 200 with a time of 29.50.
Paityn Ansel placed second in the 3200 with a time of 15:28.99.
The girls took first in the 4x100 (57.87), and first in the 4x400 (4:51.07).
Those teams were Woodrow, Perez, Luna Vazquez and Ortiz, and Woodrow, Perez, Vazquez and White, respectively.
