The Broncs moved to 2-0 in the young season with a 38-8 road win at Syracuse Friday.
Racking up 327 yards on the ground, Lakin scored five times on rushes to go with an interception for a score.
The Broncs scored four times in the first to take a 26-0 lead.
Armando Salcido got the first two scores on runs of 63 and 65 yards.
Ross Rider returned an interception 34 yards for the third score, and Salcido scored for the third time on a 15-yard run.
The next score happened in the third quarter when quarterback Maddux Beltran ran in from one yard out.
Colter Oldham scored in the fourth on a six-yard run to put the Broncs ahead 38-0.
Syracuse scored late on a 24-yard run for their only score.
Salcido led the Broncs with 151 rushing yards on just seven carries.
Beltran had 11 carries for 92 yards and Oldham had 80 yards on nine carries.
Beltran was 1-for-4 passing.
Oldham led the team with five tackles and four assists. His effort included one sack and three tackles for losses.
Javion Granado was in on eight tackles and Dravin Chavira had one sack.
Dru Patterson picked up a second interception and Beltran recovered a fumble.
Lakin ran 40 plays from scrimmage, gaining 327 yards and 10 first downs.
Syracuse ran 47 plays for 183 yards and nine first downs.
Lakin wil host Goodland Friday. It will be First Responders/Military Appreciation Night.
